Peranan Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional dalam Meningkatkan Tanggung Jawab Siswa Tunarungu di SLB-B YPPLB Makassar

The problem studied in this study is the lack of responsibility in deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar. This study aims to determine the role of social emotional learning in increasing the responsibility of deaf students. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical methods, namely using the average (mean) and percentage. The results of the study showed that all students experienced an increase in scores, this proves that social emotional learning plays a positive role in increasing the responsibility of deaf students at school. In addition to the score, there is also a shift in the category of students from the "Enough" category to the "Very Good" category. The conclusions of this study are 1) The ability of responsibility of deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar before social emotional learning was in the "Enough" category, 2) The ability of responsibility attitudes in deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar after the implementation of social emotional learning was in the "Very Good" category, 3) Social emotional learning plays an important role in increasing the responsibility of deaf students at SLB B YPPLB Makassar. This is proven through the results of the study before the social emotional learning was implemented, which was in the "Sufficient" category and after the social emotional learning was implemented, it was in the "Very Good" category, which shows an increase in students' responsibility abilities after participating in a series of social emotional learning.
